On entering La Maison, it quickly becomes clear why this restaurant is a favorite stop for skiers descending the slopes of Val Thorens. With a location literally steps away from the snow, La Maison offers a warm welcome to anyone looking for culinary indulgence after a morning on the slopes. Don’t expect a stiff interior here but top Sovayaard cosiness including crackling fire and sheepskins. La Maison also has a large terrace. The expectations of this dish were fully met especially since it was nice that we could completely finish our tartare ourselves at the table.
