Four exclusive champagne flavoured ice creams, created by four prestigious Belgian master ice cream makers, complete the summer picture.
Ice creams are the symbol of summer. As soon as the sun comes out, the refreshing dessert conquers the hearts of gourmets all over the world. It inspired Piper-Heidsieck to base its limited edition box on this summery icon. For the second year in a row, the renowned champagne house wraps its Cuvée Brut in a container in the shape of an ice cream, the Ice Cream Cool Box, a colourful and sunny box that is available everywhere in Belgium.
SUMMER VIBES – The exclusive box carries the iconic colours of the House of Piper-Heidsieck: bright red and gold. Not only does it look exquisite, it also keeps your favourite bubbles cool. Ideal for a picnic, a trip to the beach or simply as a cooler on your table. Bold, elegant and original, the box is the perfect gift for your friends and family for any occasion this summer.

The limited edition Piper-Heidsieck Ice Cream box is available from specialist retailers. Recommended retail price: €46.50.
Inspired by the summer box, Piper-Heidsieck called on four local artisanal ice cream makers to create a champagne-based flavour. A culinary collaboration that will allow you to enjoy ice creams with the exceptional aroma of champagne all summer long. Each master ice cream maker created an original recipe based on the famous Cuvée Brut from Piper-Heidsieck. In July and August, four different ice cream shops throughout the country will be offering unprecedented gastronomic, fruity creations. The participating ice cream parlours have establishments in several major Belgian cities, including Knokke, Antwerp, Ghent, Wavre and Waterloo.
Delicious bubbles and refined Belgian ice creams
Because the flavours of Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut and fruit go together exceptionally well, the master ice-cream makers took inspiration from typical summer flavours to create the champagne ice cream.
In 1928, Crèmerie François offered only two flavours, mocha and vanilla. Anno 2021, the salon has greatly expanded its menu and serves about twenty flavours. It serves all the classics (including sugar-free and lactose-free versions), but also creates more original flavours such as blueberry or banana-straciatella. The brand, which has branches in Knokke, Sint-Niklaas and Ostend, collaborated with Ghent’s Crèmerie Gérard, an ice cream shop known for its traditional flavours and delicious waffles, to create a sorbet based on Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut and strawberries. The exclusive flavour is available in both ice cream shops.

Milad, the trendy Antwerp ice cream parlour inspired by the flavours of the Middle East, is also taking part in this adventure. Milad is known for their surprising flavours such as coffee cardamom, saffron with rose water and almond orange blossom. For this new flavour too, Milad goes back to its Middle Eastern roots. The champagne sorbet is enriched with rose water and pomegranate. This combination creates a sweet, yet slightly sour taste that keeps you cool on the hottest summer days.
