The experience began with a fizzy glass of Champagne Louis Roederer 243, which set the tone for a promising evening.
The first dish, Gnocchi with Bellota ham, was elevated by the Petit de Petot Village 2020. The langoustines with foie gras, of unparalleled finesse, were paired with Château Petit Village 2012. The strength of the cod with lobster and morels found a perfect match in another vintage of Château Petit Village 2012.
The bavette of “Blackmore” beef was enhanced by the robustness of Château Petit Village 2010. As a pre-dessert, liquid Beaufort dessert surprised guests when paired with Château Petit Village 2016. As a highlight, a chocolate mulberry cake concluded this extraordinary tasting experience.
