RO™ & FRI™ designer selection for colourful comfort

Jaime Hayon’s new, sophisticated fabric combinations take the Ro™ and Fri™ armchairs to the next level.

The carefully curated collection of fabrics selected by Jaime Hayon are contemporary and colourful, embellishing Fritz Hansen’s armchairs. The selection was inspired by Hayon’s travels to Thailand and were specially selected by the Spanish designer to accentuate. The high quality upholstery fabrics in striking colour and fabric combinations underline the base and cushions to their full potential.

“The vibrant combination of colours, textures and patterns that I encountered on my travels through Thailand led me to find unexpected combinations of fabrics that would give the chairs a new lease of life,” says Hayon about his new Designer Selection for Fritz Hansen.

The exclusive fabrics give a new dimension to each design. Atom – designed by Raf Simons for Kvadrat – is a furry bouclé of wool with speckles. Steelcut is a classic worsted fabric in a new combination: ton-sur-ton colours give a subtle, durable texture to the curves of each chair, while the soft chenille Nabis highlights the cushions with its ribbed pattern and soft texture.

Exclusive upholstery is offered in a range of hues that are good for the mood, from subdued to very pronounced – with unexpected combinations of colour, texture and comfort.
