The Milanese duo chose to restore the property’s historic features, such as ornate frescoes and mosaic floors, and create space for a contemporary art collection interspersed with old family portraits and minimalist-designed furniture. Moreover, artworks are also put to functional use here, such as the lighting bowl by Simon D’Exea or the archaic rain shower by Andrea Sala that falls from the high ceiling into a large basin.
