An exclusive experience with exclusive product highlights, lifestyle and gastronomy at star level. We don’t say no to that! The gala evening ‘BMW. Moments of Inspiration. brought luxury and sustainability together in a unique setting. As the name of the event suggests, inspiration played an extremely important role. We were inspired by the electric cars that drove by, by the culinary 4-course menu served by BMW Friends David Martin (**) and Roger van Damme (*) and by the whole experience. But what you might not know yet is that the whole event and the models are inspired by you! Ready to get inspired by your inspiration?

“You have to live the experience to the full, both in the kitchen and in the car.” – David Martin, Michelin-starred chef at La Paix restaurant in Brussels.
After the live presentation of previous models, it was up to David Martin to tantalise our taste buds or as he puts it himself, “You have to live the experience to the full, both in the kitchen and in the car.” We enjoyed two splendid dishes. The first was one with North Sea Crab, hibiscus and cress and was paired with a crisp white wine, namely the Austrian Grüner Veltliner Federspiel Weissenkirchen 2020 by Domäne Wachau (Austria). The second dish was a heavenly combination of lobster with Malines asparagus, miso and a mala sauce, paired with the dry Chardonnay: Château de la Guiche Montagny 2018.

New digital innovations take the upper hand with the BMW iX. Standard 5G and a curved display make the car the pioneer of a new era. As Peter Hinssen, technology entrepreneur and author says, “BMW always succeeds in adapting to changes in society.” The BMW iX has a considerable range of up to 630 kilometres, making it suitable for both city journeys and long-distance trips. If you look at the design of this all-electric car, you will quickly notice the vertical BMW kidneys. In addition, BMW built the iX with the largest panoramic sunroof that provides a generous sense of space and a relaxed lounge atmosphere.

8/ The i4
Inspired by music… The BMW i4 is a first in several respects. It is the first fully electric Gran Coupé, but also the first BMW i-model with a distinctive sound designed by German composer and music producer Hans Zimmer. In terms of design, the BMW i4 is sporty in nature, but it also has a sustainable character as it is produced exclusively using green electricity. In addition, the high voltage battery deliberately uses no rare earths. Best of all, with the BMW i4 you’re always emission-free on the road and can enjoy a dynamic driving experience without any worries at all.

9/ BMW CE 04
The ambition in electromobility continues with the new CE 04. Thanks to short charging times, a range of approximately 130 kilometres and a powerful braking system with ABS, this fully electric scooter is perfect for the city! The loading area opens to the side and the floating buddyseat provide extra comfort. The low centre of gravity ensures playful handling, surprising dynamism and timeless riding pleasure.

Time for the next dish. David Martin surprised us again with an exquisite fillet of veal Corrèze with green asparagus, peas and a yellow wine sauce paired with an intensely fruity red Château du Glana 2016 Saint Julien (Bordeaux). To end the evening in a sweet way, the well-known pastry chef, Roger van Damme, brought us a delicious milk chocolate dessert with caramel, white chocolate, basil and a red fruit gravy.
