Belgian design house Paveau unveils its newest glassware collection, SWIRL, a refined celebration of water, movement, and emotion. The line includes sleek carafes, tumblers, long drink glasses, and festive coupes — each designed to elevate everyday water into a ritual of quiet luxury. Presented during an intimate launch event at the architectural landmark Wintercircus in Ghent (Belgium), the collection was introduced by founder Isabelle De Pauw, who offered a heartfelt tribute to her late father and the personal journey behind SWIRL.
Design in motion
Where previous Paveau lines emphasized linear minimalism, SWIRL leans into curves. Inspired by the hypnotic ripple of flowing water, each piece embodies a soft, sculptural dynamism that feels at once tactile and poetic. The delicate grooves, gently twisting around the glass, mirror life’s unpredictable currents — elegant, fluid, and deeply human.
This interplay between form and feeling was central to De Pauw’s emotional speech at the launch: “Life comes with a swirl,” she said, referencing not just the visual identity of the collection, but the emotional one as well. SWIRL is more than just a design; it is a reflection of transition, resilience, and the quiet beauty found in everyday rituals.

The collection includes two sizes of carafes — 0.75 L and 1.25 L — ideal for everything from bedside water to show-stopping dining moments. The coupe, a first for Paveau, reimagines the classic water glass into something celebratory yet understated.
Each item is crafted from high-quality, fully recyclable glass, and features a self-designed, glossy ton-sur-ton cap. The collection comes in seven serene hues, from soft moss green to warm terracotta, allowing for playful combinations or minimalist monochrome statements.
